I would like to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had with your HR employee DHL supply chain "Nairobi Kenya", Sera Njuguna. After completing the interview and security vetting process, I was pleased to hear that I had been successful.
However, during the salary discussion, Serah informed me that the (basic salary + house allowance = gross salary) Gross Salary was Ksh 35,000/= ksh (271 USD monthly) with a net amount of Ksh 29,000/= KSH (224 USD monthly) after deductions, contractual terms yearly till retirement, stating that the offer was non-negotiable and that if I was not comfortable with the salary offer, she would proceed to recruit another H.G.V. Driver as if I was to take that as a threat, This type of communication to me from her was quite unprofessional and dismissive.
Although I later met with Madam Janet Sera's boss, who was open to discussions and promising a feedback in two days time, Sera few days later informed me of the final decision of the 35,000/= ksh gross pay (271 USD monthly) for driving trailer "h.g.v driver job" with the same bad attitude. It is not the feedback that concerns me, but rather Seras overall bad attitude, frustrations, disrespect and approach, which does not reflect the image I had of DHL.
While I respect the decision, my concern lies in the manner of communication, which did not align with the professional image I associate with DHL.
I believe that future candidates should not have to undergo such treatment, regardless of their status of job title "be it cleaner, driver... e.t.c", to protect the companys reputation for professionalism.

On Saturday evening last I would receive a package between 4:20 PM and 9:20 PM. While I was waiting for the package, I suddenly saw at 7:30 PM that on the same track trace site where the time indication was, there was a message that the delivery person had already been to me and I was not at home.
I immediately went to the DHL complaint site and chatted with the bot and indicated that I was at home and that the delivery person had not knocked on my door, otherwise I would have gone downstairs and received my package. This was at 7:35 PM so proof that I was home. Today I called DHL customer service to explain this. I got on the phone with a lady who was very difficult to hear and understand because she held the receiver too far from her mouth and also because of her heavy Antalian accent and also because a baby was crying in the background.
After a lot of effort, I was able to tell her my track trace number, address and zip code and just when I wanted to tell my story she hung up the phone. I called again, but every time after hearing the tape with the introduction explanation, I was pushed away and I received a call signal. I went to the DHL live chat site and got Lara from DHL customer service who, after a lot of chatting, told me that the package could no longer be offered to me but she had filed a complaint on my behalf with case number: 2735**** but I didn't have one there. message to, The package would have to be picked up at a collection point and she said she could not change that.
I contacted the shipper and explained what had happened and that I would not be picking up the package and that the package would be returned after 7 days. I have almost always had problems with DHL and I try if possible not to do business with the online stores that work with DHL. I spoke with 5 employees on the DHL chat site via chat and each of these 5 employees has a different story about why my package was brought to the service point. One says it is because the letters of the zip code are missing and another says it is because I was not at home.
I was waiting for my package for 4 days, why would I leave the house on the day and time of delivery? The delivery person left a non-home message in my mailbox with the number: 12RA4976RL. I also offered to these 5 employees that I am willing to pay the extra costs if my package is delivered to me again, but I could not tell them that. On 11 july my package was sent back to Spain.
The package was taken to a pick up point of DHL and stayed there for 7 days during which I kept contacting DHL asking them to deliver the package to me and that I was willing to pay for the transport as I was too sick to go and pick it up but they didn't. DHL refused to deliver my package which was 2 km away from me at the pick up point and after 7 days on 11 july 2024 they sent the package back to Spain. This is how evil this organisation is. They prefered to carry the package all the way back to the sender in Spain than just bring it to me a few minutes away from the pick up point on my own cost.
This can only happen with DHL. I will never ever buy anything from any webshop that works with DHL and if I see something I want on a webshop I contact the webshop as I have done before and tell them why I am not buying from them. Telling them I have had my packages stolen, lost, delayed and damaged by DHL and that's the reason I am not buying anything that is delivered by DHL. Sometimes they offer me another courier like DPD, GLS Post.nl or UPS with which they also work with and then I buy from them.
And if they don't offer me another courier I move on to another webshop who sells the same item I want and does not work with DHL. I advise everyone to do the same in order to let webshop know that they are losing customers and money because of dhl.

Dear DHL Customer Service,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of my shipment containing an iPhone from the United States to Spain via DHL, located at 15-31 Papetti Plaza, Elizabeth, New Jersey. The consignment, which was supposed to be delivered within two days as promised, has not reached me, causing significant inconvenience and financial strain.
On June 11, 2024, I traveled to Spain after losing my iPhone at Newark Airport. My iPhone was recovered and handed to my son, Jonathan Beaubien, who promptly sent it to me via DHL. I expected it to arrive within the stipulated timeframe since I stayed in Spain until June 28, 2024.
Unfortunately, not only did the shipment fail to arrive on time, but I was also informed upon its arrival in Spain that I must pay a $500 customs fee to receive the phone. This fee was not communicated to my son at the time of shipment, resulting in unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Furthermore, after requesting that the iPhone be returned to my son in New Jersey upon my return from Spain on June 28, 2024, the shipment has still not been received as of today, June 30, 2024. This prolonged delay is unacceptable and has caused further distress as I rely on my phone for essential communications and work-related activities.
In light of these issues, I request the following actions to be taken promptly:
A full refund of the shipping charges incurred for the failed delivery and subsequent return of the iPhone.
Compensation for the $500 customs fee not disclosed upfront which has caused financial strain.
Immediate communication regarding the whereabouts of the iPhone and expedited delivery to my son in New Jersey. As we have insurance on the iPhone, I need to replace my iPhone as soon as possible.
I urge you to resolve this matter swiftly, as I require a functional phone before returning to work on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. I expect a response and resolution within the shortest possible time frame.
Don't hesitate to contact me at 973-902-**** or 973-527-**** since I don't have my iPhone yet and cannot receive any calls until I do so. Package sent 17 July and then returned to point of origin only to be sent out again one week later, arrived in Atlanta 26 July and proceeded to disappear from system with no updates still on 30 August for its final destination of Houston. Customer service says they dont work on weekends but yet post tracking updates on the weekend. The plane must have spent 3 days or more in the air for there to be no recent update.
DHL other screw up delivering a computer to the wrong address, fortunately the woman at the wrong delivery address drove the computer and finished DHLs delivery to the correct address location.

On 17.04, I made an international order with DHL from Germany to Hungary containing incredibly important personal documents. DHL promised delivery within a maximum of 10 days.
On 21.04, I was informed that DHL handed the package over to Magyar Posta.
However, when I checked the Magyar Posta tracking system, I found out the order never arrived in Hungary.
Since then, I've been stuck in an infuriating loop of calls and complaints. DHL blames Magyar Posta and vice versa. I've filled out endless complaints and ordered multiple investigations. This nonsense went on until 06.06, a full 50 days later, when DHL finally admitted they couldn't find our order.
Their idea of compensation? A paltry 37.5 euros!
Reissuing the lost documents is a nightmare that requires traveling abroad and will cost me up to 200 euros! The delay has already caused severe disruption.
I WASTED AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF TIME, MONEY, AND NERVES AND THEY HELD ZERO RESPONSIBILITY.
To make matters worse, I've discovered many people have had similar experiences with these companies. It seems this isn't an isolated incident but a pattern of negligence and incompetence.
Whose fault is this?
John Pearson? Barnabás Balczó? Who is going to take responsibility for this utter failure?
Why is this happening, and why do we, as customers, just accept having our stuff and money stolen?
How do we ensure this never happens to anyone else again? This incompetence and lack of accountability from DHL and Magyar Posta is unacceptable and needs to be addressed!

I cannot even begin to express the sheer magnitude of frustration and anger I feel towards this so-called "Fast, Easy and Affordable" customer service of DHL. Fast and easy?
More like slow and excruciatingly painful!
What happened to the, it will be there in 3-5 business days. Six weeks. Six long frustrating weeks since my package was supposedly sent, and yet my husband sits, still empty-handed. He too is NOT happy at all with the situation.
What kind of incompetent, negligent operation are they running? This is not just a case of dropping the ball; this is a full-blown circus of ineptitude!
I've lost count of the number of emails and phone calls I've made in a futile attempt to resolve this debacle. Each time I reach out, I'm met with empty promises, meaningless apologies, and absolutely zero progress. At one time they even told me it had been destroyed because the receiver was not responding to them.
Well, that would mean that they, DHL, would have made an attempt to contact the receiver or me, the shipper. Nope. Nothing. And, who gave them permission to destroy the package?!?!!
No one. It has to happen at the shipping end through an agent/store. Was this an additional effort to cause me more frustration and anxiety! It's as if they thrive on our misery, reveling in our frustration as they twiddle their thumbs and do absolutely nothing to rectify the situation.
Customer service?
Ha! What a laughable concept. They wouldn't know good customer service if it smacked them in the face with a two-by-four. They have single-handedly shattered any semblance of trust or goodwill I may have had towards their brand, leaving me with nothing but bitterness and regret for ever engaging with them in the first place.
I will NEVER use them again and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. And, Ill be sure to let as many people know as possible.
To anyone considering doing business with this sorry excuse for a company, I implore you: Run. Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Save yourself the headache, the heartache, and the sheer aggravation of dealing with these incompetent buffoons.
Your time, your money, and your sanity are far too precious to waste on such a colossal failure of a business.
