Never on time
HI order often from Amazon and when I see DHL as the delivery service I know that when it says the item will be delivered on a certain day, I have never had it happen. They will move it to a second day and I cant remember it being delivered that day either as a package I had ordered was delayed again today.
Seeing that it was in a station hundreds of miles from my home I know there is no way it will be there as I was told. Then after two days it will say something about being scheduled for another day.
When reading the routing information it is often out for delivery but never arrives as promised. Quit over promising and under delivering.

Bottom line: this paid delivery service ends up costing a fortune, and the recipient feels powerless. I wouldnt recommend DHL to anyone, especially in Warsaw.
If you need to send something valuable, look for alternatives. For this price, you can get far better serviceI sent a broken SIM card from Shanghai to Warsaw, indicating a symbolic value of $5, as it has no market value. I paid $100 for shipping, expecting at least decent service for that price. Their overseas customer service told me to call the sender, who is in India. What's he going to say? DHL is the one who messed up.
I told this seller to never use DHL for myself again or I will never buy from them again. Their customer service is a joke!

This was covered by a Transfer of residence issued by UK customs allowing import of these items duty free. DHL are trying to charge duty. My baggage contacted DHL customs clearance who stated the TOR was accepted and not sure why duties were being charged by DHL. DHL stated delivery refused nobody called as confirmed by saved ring doorbell history.
Called customer service goy a so called International shipping expert called louis ( in India I think) this specialist didn't even know what a TOR was when I asked for a supervisor he hung up. Don't know where DHL get the authority to charge duty that supersedes UK customs and excise If you want efficient honest service go elsewhere

I have contacted customer service via chat on the website and over the phone through a foreign call center. My package has been listed as on hold for weeks and every representative I talk to tells me something different.
One person said it missed the plane and is just waiting for the next flight. Another says it's sitting in customs and there are no notes or requests from CBSA.
One lady's accent was so thick and her English so broken that I couldn't understand the conversation at all. Very disappointing experience.

I would like to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had with your HR employee DHL supply chain "Nairobi Kenya", Sera Njuguna. After completing the interview and security vetting process, I was pleased to hear that I had been successful.
However, during the salary discussion, Serah informed me that the (basic salary + house allowance = gross salary) Gross Salary was Ksh 35,000/= ksh (271 USD monthly) with a net amount of Ksh 29,000/= KSH (224 USD monthly) after deductions, contractual terms yearly till retirement, stating that the offer was non-negotiable and that if I was not comfortable with the salary offer, she would proceed to recruit another H.G.V. Driver as if I was to take that as a threat, This type of communication to me from her was quite unprofessional and dismissive.
Although I later met with Madam Janet Sera's boss, who was open to discussions and promising a feedback in two days time, Sera few days later informed me of the final decision of the 35,000/= ksh gross pay (271 USD monthly) for driving trailer "h.g.v driver job" with the same bad attitude. It is not the feedback that concerns me, but rather Seras overall bad attitude, frustrations, disrespect and approach, which does not reflect the image I had of DHL.
While I respect the decision, my concern lies in the manner of communication, which did not align with the professional image I associate with DHL.
I believe that future candidates should not have to undergo such treatment, regardless of their status of job title "be it cleaner, driver... e.t.c", to protect the companys reputation for professionalism.

On Saturday evening last I would receive a package between 4:20 PM and 9:20 PM. While I was waiting for the package, I suddenly saw at 7:30 PM that on the same track trace site where the time indication was, there was a message that the delivery person had already been to me and I was not at home.
I immediately went to the DHL complaint site and chatted with the bot and indicated that I was at home and that the delivery person had not knocked on my door, otherwise I would have gone downstairs and received my package. This was at 7:35 PM so proof that I was home. Today I called DHL customer service to explain this. I got on the phone with a lady who was very difficult to hear and understand because she held the receiver too far from her mouth and also because of her heavy Antalian accent and also because a baby was crying in the background.
After a lot of effort, I was able to tell her my track trace number, address and zip code and just when I wanted to tell my story she hung up the phone. I called again, but every time after hearing the tape with the introduction explanation, I was pushed away and I received a call signal. I went to the DHL live chat site and got Lara from DHL customer service who, after a lot of chatting, told me that the package could no longer be offered to me but she had filed a complaint on my behalf with case number: 2735**** but I didn't have one there. message to, The package would have to be picked up at a collection point and she said she could not change that.
I contacted the shipper and explained what had happened and that I would not be picking up the package and that the package would be returned after 7 days. I have almost always had problems with DHL and I try if possible not to do business with the online stores that work with DHL. I spoke with 5 employees on the DHL chat site via chat and each of these 5 employees has a different story about why my package was brought to the service point. One says it is because the letters of the zip code are missing and another says it is because I was not at home.
I was waiting for my package for 4 days, why would I leave the house on the day and time of delivery? The delivery person left a non-home message in my mailbox with the number: 12RA4976RL. I also offered to these 5 employees that I am willing to pay the extra costs if my package is delivered to me again, but I could not tell them that. On 11 july my package was sent back to Spain.
The package was taken to a pick up point of DHL and stayed there for 7 days during which I kept contacting DHL asking them to deliver the package to me and that I was willing to pay for the transport as I was too sick to go and pick it up but they didn't. DHL refused to deliver my package which was 2 km away from me at the pick up point and after 7 days on 11 july 2024 they sent the package back to Spain. This is how evil this organisation is. They prefered to carry the package all the way back to the sender in Spain than just bring it to me a few minutes away from the pick up point on my own cost.
This can only happen with DHL. I will never ever buy anything from any webshop that works with DHL and if I see something I want on a webshop I contact the webshop as I have done before and tell them why I am not buying from them. Telling them I have had my packages stolen, lost, delayed and damaged by DHL and that's the reason I am not buying anything that is delivered by DHL. Sometimes they offer me another courier like DPD, GLS Post.nl or UPS with which they also work with and then I buy from them.
And if they don't offer me another courier I move on to another webshop who sells the same item I want and does not work with DHL. I advise everyone to do the same in order to let webshop know that they are losing customers and money because of dhl.

I would give them no stars if possible.
Tracking my package, I get a message its on "hold" and to contact them. The number is an automated phone system that tells me my package is "on the way." After searching for a live customer service, the best I can do is chat.
First, they tell me in chat my package will be delivered today (yesterday). Then it's not going to be delivered, then It's going to be tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, my package is still on "hold" on the website. The phone service says its "on the way." Back to chat, it will be delivered today.
When pressed, they don't know, they are really busy and doing their best.
The automated phone system says "its on its way" and the website says It's still on "hold." with no explanation.
I'm going to cancel my order, report the entire transaction as fraudulent to the credit card company and let the merchant and shipper sort it out.
I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SUCH INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER ABSOLUTELY Y FROM A MERCHANT THAT USES DHL AND I WILL NEVER USE DHL PERSONALLY OR AT MY COMPANY.
