An item, for which an import permit is needed, was sent to me in South Africa on 11 Oct from the UK. By 16 Nov I still haven't received it.
The reasons: DHL did not give the needed information from the first call; when a lack of service was experienced from local government agencies, DHL expected the customer (me) to sort things out refusing to become involved and/or being in a position to advise; when the item's delivery was immanent, DHL refused to use a copied Internet money transfer, saying they needed an original bank document confirming payment (a first for me in Internet banking).
