DHL Van hit my parked Truck

On November 15, 2012 Thursday. Parking lot employee(Cortilia Cato) witness a DHL Van hitting my parked car when exitng the garage. This happen between 2:50 - 3pm ET. In the Red section P1. She tried to flag the vehicle down, but the driver keep going. Parking Garage address is 1380 atlantic suite 14250 3**** North American Property. note: I am unable to load pictures! In addition I have a police report # 12320**** Atlanta police dept. I have contacted the local DHL company that service that area Mike Sun. Ok, posting that on here isn't going to resolve the issue. You would have to contact DHL directly and let them know that one of their drivers did damage to your vehicle.

Then you give them your location, and they will put you in contact with the DHL in your area. Posting this complaint on there will do no good, as I am sure DHL will not see it.

Absolute worst service with the worst communication imaginable!!!

I had a gift sent that travelled acroos the entire world until reaching Canadian customs. After a few days of tracking seeing that it had a hold I finally contacted DHLs 1 800 number. I was told it was a routine hold not to worry and it would be sent in a few days. I did this again 3 days later and again 3 days later until finally being given a 1 888 number to call. They told me I needed an import number(which turns out wasnt the case as it was a gift sent to me). They also stated I need a power of attorney and to fill out their other forms. I did everything. Faxed everything in. No response from them. Call again, we never received your fax, confirm number and fax again. 3 days no response I call again. Ok we received the papers and call this lady. A broker. After about a week she finally answers her phone. No return calls. Tells me she doesnt have the paperwork and info so I fax it to her. She confirms that she has it and proceeds to tell em how good at her job she is yet is asking me how to do it. I dont know, send the package! So I give her a few days, no reply. Call DHL they assure me its being worked on and will be alright. Over a week later she wont return calls, DHL then informs me the paperwork has been sent to customs, a few days later I call and they tell me the package has been cleared and will be delivered that day. Again 3 days later no package. The internet tracking tells me to call them. I do and they tell me the package has been declared abandoned!!! This is contact by me every 3 days, between about 8 different people as they did not contact me a single time. Currently trying to contact customs but still 6 weeks later no package and they billed my credit card $52.00 for reasons and services completely unknown.

Never pick up phone/ incompetent staff

They never pick up their phone. The replies have been at best hours late and always wrong. I've called upwards of ten times during their working hours. (8-6 which are simply silly considering I would have to take time off work for the chance that my package MIGHT arrive.) They responded once after voicemails left, hours later with wrong information. requests to have my package put in warehouse so I can pick it up myself have gone ununanswered. Canada post is far better at the job. I will never do business with these DHL express people again. I recommend you don't either.

Packege not delivered,note was not left on door

DHL do not provide service, they ruin it.i was sent EXTREMELY important documents from Europe to USA which i supposed to receive yesterday or at least that's what the website says when i enter my tracking number but no.today when i checked again it says "recipient refused delivery "WHAT?? i was at home all day long waiting and I didn't even have a note on my door!how can you prove that they came!?today second day sitting in front of my door,literally waiting for my documents after hour spent on the phone with customer service only to find out that they CAN NOT help me whit anything. they cant give me the office phone number because they communicate through internet messages?!? drivers dont have phones so they can't call me neither i can contact them, no explanation why i didnt have a note left on my door. if i dont get the package today i have to go pick it up from their office 15 miles away from where i live.very very important documents, signature required and lots of money prepaid to receive this docs on time.what can i say? never ever again DHL and if i dont get my package today I will see you in court.second time whit you and the same horrible service.

Dhl delay delivery, no commitment

I posted a document, a drive license, it's size 3 in x 5-in only... I used the service dhl express worldwild, which promises delivery the next business day. Posted in Brazil, on december 19, 2012 and was to be delivered in Los Angeles on december 21, 2012. As promised by themselves and confirmed several times by phone. They sent my order for miami who arrived at the end of December 20, around 8pm. I called dhl, a guy named jesus (phone: 866600****, on 20 December) said: Your order will not be delivered on 21/12 as agreed, due to a blockage of the custom house in Miami, requesting additional data / documents to release. (it was just a *** drive license, 3 in. x 5 in..., come on)   The miami custom has no scanner?? I do not believe it... I searched the internet and found numerous complaints similar to mine, they use this artifice to gain time and place responsibility for their inefficiency in custom house in miami. Unfortunately they delivery me on December 24, 2012 ... Really frustrating, if you value your money and your dignity not ever use the services of dhl, never !!!

You did not mention from what company you ordered the two celtics t-shirts. By the way, are you sure you ordered two celtics t-shirts.

I mean are you really sure you ordered two Celtics t-shirts. What's wrong with the pair of hippo slippers? Did DHL open your package with your order of two celtic t-shirts and replace them with a pair hippo slippers?

Are you sure you didn't want a pair of hippo slippers even though you ordered two celtics t-shirts from ??? where did you say you ordered two celtic t-shirts from??

Not only that, but I think we get the picture from the first sentence. You didn't have to repeat yourself.

But, LadyScot is right. DHL is not at fault here; it's the company you ordered the T-Shirts from. They're the ones who packaged the item and shipped it.

You need to contact them and complain that you got the wrong item. Now, if it took too long to get to your house, then DHL would be to blame, but not in this case.

DHL customer service and delivery issues

I just had a terrible experience with DHL. I have purchased a herbal product over internet that was shipped from India. DHL could not enter to the building because as many apartments in the building we don't have a landline and consequently a buzzer. I called DHL and asked they just drop the package off at a DHL location. I was told by an agent that after 48 hours the package will be ready to pick up at a DHL location near my place. The day of pick up I called back again to make sure every thing is all right as I suspected that it is not, and was informed that the person who I talked to, in DHL customer service was wrong and they can not drop of the package in the place already announced! I had the pleasure to be informed that I have to go to a DHL location near Montreal airport to pick the package up. It is interesting to know that despite the enormous amount of money spent on false advertising, DHL has not even a tiny place in across a city like Montreal to drop of packages. People should drive over an hour in -30C outside the city to reach the DHL location near airport to pick up their packages if they don't have a buzzer. What a pleasure! I just decided to return the package to India and never ever use DHL again. People at DHL customer service are aggressive, offensive and ignorant. I asked to talk to a supervisor. They got my phone number and told that I will be contacted soon, but after 7 days I am still waiting that a supervisor calls me! I have recorded all the conversations and will file a complaint against them in a Montreal local court next week.

Theft of microSD cards

We ordered a package of microSDs, SD adapters and plastic cases from Hong Kong via DHL. We usually choose EMS but we needed the package quicker, so we chose DHL for this package. It arrived with everything but the microSD cards. There was clearly a tear where the microSD cards were, and it was "inspected" by DHL, Hong Kong. Our supplier was very kind and understanding and is taking the loss on this one, but it sucks for him. Do not trust DHL, Kong Kong. Use EMS instead. It takes a bit longer but have never had a problem with EMS.

Not picking the parcels

I have booked for a parcel to be picked from my office and called the Dar es salaam DHL number and they informed me that the parcel will be picked in 15 minutes. However since last 6 hours no body came to pick the parcel. I called a number of times to the customer service and they say " we are pushing the courier" and they will come. Finally no one turned up and I decided to go with another courier company. My pick up booking number is 30 and the date is 26 Feb 2013. By this DHL lost a business and many more to come from me and my friends and i saved some money as decided to sent by other courier.

Order held by customs and wont be released, DHL charged us an additional 94 dollars for not deliver

Ordered some vitamins from the iherb website. The order was then taken by customs at Ezezia Airport.We had to pay 94 dollars (more than the price of our order) to go to the National Airport customs (a 3 hour bus journey in 35 degree heat!) Where we were told that without specific permission from the national health we would not be allowed to have our items.DHL in the airport told us that this is the law and we should have been told this at the DHL offices, not paid 94 dollars and not sent on a wild goose chase to the Airport to find out.DHL are scammers in Argentina and this is the final time i will ever use them no matter where i live in the world.

It is up to the consumer, YOU, to know the import laws of the country YOU live in. The seller is responsible to know the laws of the country HE lives in. Now your fight is with YOUR government.

Never got package

I ordered an item through Groupon and the tracking number from DHL CLAIMS it was delivered on 2/15. I sent 2 emails asking where my package was and NEVER received a response. DHL # 105164****143540****209. I called Groupon and they couldn't really help with the shipping information so they told me to try and ask people in my building if anyone took it. No one in my bldg took the package and no one signed for it. I am aslo going to try and call the toll free number but I am told that it doesnt help at all. This sucks.

Lost package

I was told by the shipper that my package would arrive on Friday. I tracked my package online and received my updates. When my package reached Cincinnati there were no more updates. So I waited, 16 hours later still no new update. I called customer service who stated that I should still receive my package on Friday(today). So I waited another 6 hours and called back. The rep then told me that my package had been lost and they will file a lost/misplaced report and call me later. I have upset customers calling me for their supplies. I spent my day waiting for hours for a package that they now can't find. Never had this problem with UPS. Never.

DHL forged signature

Stayed in all day to sign for new passports. Finally get a phone call which i missed.. rang back 10 mins later to find the driver had forged my signature and left the passports in a non secure mailboax 300m from my house.. DHL refuse to do anything.. and if they do an "internal investigation" they are apparently unable to tel me the outcome because that would be against data protection policy. The local office told me there are very good at delivering passports and that they always drop them off in case people want to go on holiday lol DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY

DHL service: avoid under any circumstances - dangerous for health and pocket!

Chronology of my trouble ´served´ by DHL Express Portugal: 22 May 2012, Tuesday At 8.26am my personal affects shipment N 603644**** arrived from Dubai to Lisbon Airport. Afternoon i called to DHL with request of necessary for custom clearance documents. DHL employe said i will be contact durinbg nearest time and i spelled my e-mail address to her for they could send me essential information. 23 May 2012, Wednesday At 17.55 i received phone call from Manuela Vaz Costa, DHL Customs Support, which said that my e-mail was written incorrect and they cannot send me information. I was out of home at this time and right on my return at 20.57 i have sent to DHL e-mail with my e-mail address. 24 May 2012, Thursday DHL didnt contact me and didn´t send any information. 25 May 2012, Friday At 12.10 i received e-mail from Manuela Vaz Costa with list of documents and other information which already mentioned that i will be charged for their service and storage, despite in Dubai it was paid already door-to-door delivery, only the custom duty is my responsability to pay. There was not explained at all the terms and conditions, or at least after which day i will become responsible to pay any other fees. In the list of documents for the custom clearance was required residence certificate issied by local municiral administration for which i applied immediately at the same day and which i could receive only on the 29 May 2012, Tuesday. 26-27 May 2012, Saturday/Sunday Days off. 28 May 2012, Monday I am waiting for Residence certificate. 29 May 2012, Tuesday At morning the kit of required documents has submitted to DHL office and accepted as correct. The DHL employee informed me it will take 2-3 days for the custom clearance and shipment will be delivered to my door. 30 May 2012, Wednesday No any contacts and information from DHL. 31 May 2012, Thursday No any contacts and information from DHL 1 June 2012, Friday DHL called to inform that process is going well, just necessary to wait a bit. 2-3 June 2012, Saturday/Sunday No any contacts and information from DHL 4 June 2012, Monday No any contacts and information from DHL 5 June 2012, Tuesday I called to DHL to find out if there is any problem with my shipment or it´is necessary some additional documents. The DHL employee reassured me that everything is fine, no more any documents required, the process of custom clearance takes some time and probably in 2-3 days i will receive my shipment. 6 June 2012, Wednesday No any contacts and information from DHL 7 June 2012, Thursday No any contacts and information from DHL 8 June 2012, Friday At 15.47 i received call from DHL employee Goncalo Coto which informed me that the custom required my employee certificate. Why only 8 of June it has appeared this information, when all terms of delivery to my door already expired?! I have contacted immediately my company and on the 10 June 2012, Sunday requested document was provided to DHL. 9,10 June 2012, Saturday/Sunday No any contacts and information from DHL 11 June 2012, Monday Goncalo Coto has confirmed that my employee certicate received and the custom clearance will be proceed ASAP. 12 June 2012, Tuesday No any contacts and information from DHL 13 June 2012, Wednesday No any contacts and information from DHL 14 June 2012, Thursday At 12.30 i sent complain to DHL and got respond from Pedro Nunes, DHL Customer Service Director PT and Isabel Limao, DHL Customer Service Advisor with promices that now they really will do the best to deliver my shipment to me. On the phone conversation with my husband Isabel Limao promised and confirmed twice that all out of term fees will be paid by DHL and not by me. 15 June 2012, Friday At 16.23 i got a call from DHL employee Maria Oliveira, which informed me that my shipment is ready to be delivered but I have to pay 918,92€. - Why I have to pay so big amount? - was my reasonable question. - It's because your shipment is big, it has 175kg in 11 boxes,- was answer. - But it's shipment of my used personal affects, why should I pay almost 1000€ for that!? - All this amount is fees of custom, there is nothing for DHL. By law the custom charges fees for everything what crossed border of Portugal, doesn't matter it's used personal affects or products for business! Your shipment has value 1703 and from this amount the custom made calculation how much you should pay, - informed me Maria, - Should I pay 200% fees?! The value of my shipment is 1703 AED, what is equal approximately to 400€! - Yes, yes, that's what I told you! It´s how the custom makes calculation! It was clear that she unable to give any competent and professional answer about nature of this amount. She lied and cheated me without any shame, expecting that I don't know the Portuguese custom rules and trying to hide the real reason of appearence such a huge bill.. When on delivery, only after payment, I eventually received Factura DHL Express N L6464(see attached copy), - what a surprise, I didn't believe my eyes: I was charged twice for storage of my shipment in airport and for DHL service which already paid by my company in Dubai. At the same day i sent second complain to DHL. 18 June 2012, Monday I have visited the airport custom where was explained that the custom charged 260,62 Euros applied because DHL submetted documents for clearance as out of term. All the rest charges 535,20 Euros are charges of DHL only, not any custom duty. It proves that DHL lied to mee all this time, intentionally postpone clearence in purpose to charge me as much as possible without any limit! At 14.44 i got a call from Pedro Nunes, DHL Customer Service Director PT. He occused me that i submitted necessary for custom clearance documents with 1 day delay and for this reason proposed me to split the bill i payed 50/50! 20 June 2012, Wednesday At 14.30 i had personal meeting with Pedro Nunes, DHL Customer Service PT and Isabel Limao, DHL Customer Service Advisor. Isabel Limao tried to refuse her responsibility about information she gave me relatieve to paiment of storage, she said it was her mistake. Pedro Nunes has admited that amount 483.45 Euro is paiment for DHL storage and 51.75 Euro is charges for DHL assistance in the custom clearance process. Why i wasnt informed about this charges, what is the formula they were calculated, where is this misterious storage which by price i paid should be golden and to whom it belongs, why you charge DHL service which has included in door-to-door freight service and already payed by my company in Dubai, - for this questions they didn´t have answers. Only lie without any shame and empty pathetic sentences about exellent service DHL provides to the customers. Finaly Pedro Nunes said he will evaluate once more the bill and will contact me with the final amount to be charged. Till present moment i was not contacted yet. Resuming my experience: Lie, cheating, incompetence, improfessionalism, scam on the border with crime from beginning till end. Avoid to use DHL under any circumstances, it´s DANGEROUS for health and pocket!

DHL uses USPS.

Had a package shipped with DHL from China to Leadville Colorado 80461. DHL tried to use USPS to deliver my package but USPS doesn't deliver to physical addresses here. Now the package has been sent back to China via USPS with no tracking. No attempt to contact me was ever made even though my telephone number was on the label. DHL doesn't deliver but uses a third party that has no accountability and now my package is lost. Customer service was very polite, but told me DHL doesn't guarantee delivery of any packages and I'm just going to have to take a loss.
